My Step Son Needs Help

My step son is 14 years old, he decided to run away from me and his mother in august. He went to live with his father. Since he moved to his fathers house he's doing drugs and drinking alcohol, running the streets all hours of the night and many other bad things. His father don't care what he does. My step son is failing every class in school, getting suspended from school. My step son does not want to live with me and his mother and said if the court makes him come back he will run away to some of his new friends house and nobody will find him. He don't like me because I have rules he has to live by. He has also theatened to have his friends come out and take care of me. I have a 2 year old daughter and a 10 year old son.I have anther Step son living with me who's starting to act just like his brother. My step son that lives with his father needs help or he'll be put in jail by the age of 15 or dead. Can me and my wife get some help from family court to have him put in a home or some camp to straighten him out? He and We need help to solve this problem. His father is a loser and won't help him and he don't want mine and his mothers help. Thanks,a concerned step dad

Re: My Step Son Needs Help

Yes.

You can go to Family Court and file a PINS application (person in need of supervision).

The intake room at the Family Court can give guidance, help you prepare, and serve the petition.

Mike.
