Legal Question in Family Law in New York

am i out in the streets?

i have been married for 16 years. 2 children, blended family. if he kicks me out am i on the streets? everything is in his name, house, car, land, ect.

You will not be out on the street, evething gained during the marriage is subject to equitable distribution, given the length of your marriage you may be entitled to 1/2 of everything that you and your husband received during the marriage, i.e. bank accounts, property, etc.
