Support payments

My son is 18 and is going to college in August. Does my ex-husband have to pay support until he is 21? We are splitting tuition and college expenses

The answer to your question may depend on the terms of your divorce agreement/decree if any.

However, in New York State, the adult age in which child support terminates is 21 unless, it has been proven that a child whom is not in college has acheived financial independance at the age of 18.
