Support with 50% Physical Custody
New york law States 17% of gross income. She has primary physical custody. However I get child at least half the time.what would be the formula in this instance and why.

Absent an agreement to the contrary, your child support obligation is 17%. The Court of Appeals expressly determined that it will not consider the amount of time the child has visitation with the non-custodial parent.
