I was separated from my wife for a time. I had an affair with a women in which she became pregnant. I am back with my wife at this time. For support of the child from my affair is my wife financially responsible and does the court look at my wife's income as well as mine.

Re: Support

You are the only party responsible for financial support of the child, aside from the child's own mother. The court requires you to complete a Financial Disclosure Affidavit, on this form you are to list your financial liabilities and the portion that is paid by you and your wife. However, they won't ask for proof of her income and would not directly consider it unless there is a deviation from the guidelines.
