Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I thought I wanted to have a sex change so I changed my name -- I no longer want to do that and I want to have my old name back -- how can I change it back? It has been 18 months. I looked over the paperwork and noticed that my date of birth was wrong on the original filing -- can that make it null and void?

No, the technical flaw does not invalidate the change. You'll need to file a new petition to change your name...
