Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I was told that a women I dated 19 years ago is now saying her 19 year old son is mine. At the time she learned of her pregnancy we were no longer dating and I was never told she was pregnant. I have not seen her and had no idea she even had a child. What are my legal obligations if any?

This child is an adult and you need to find out if a paternity action was filed against you while the child was a minor. Check with a family law attorney for a more detail answer if there is a pending paternity lawsuit.
