my boyfriend and I have a child together. We are breaking up. I booked a cruise to

Europe with my two sons. He is stating he wants me to cancel the trip and not take him out of the country. Does he have the right. Can authoritys stop it. We were never married. I support the child. We have not gone through any custody battle yet.

Re: trip out of the country

Don't cancel your trip.

You are entitled to take your children on vacation, even out of the country.

BTW, you should file for sole custody and that will end his demands.

If he tries to stop you in court, counter sue for full custody.

Only if there is a court order can he stop you. He can get an emergency one filed but he would have to say ytou are planning to remove them permanently and you could show round trip bookings and should be able to defeat the order, assuming there is enough time.
