Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am currently unemployed, living in my father in laws apartment, paying only electric of about 300 a month. Also have a nanny for 2 children which runs 500 a week-paid for by my parents.

I am about to start work in 2 weeks, and would like to know if divorce happens, can a court order my parent to pay for the nanny? can the court require me to pay for it? i would rather send them to child care which is much cheaper. I do not have a lot of money, will not be making that much, and the funds would likely render me a public charge after paying student loans, rent, and basic living expenses, etc.

Thank you

The court can order the spouse to pay for child care, depending on what the spouse makes (maybe 70/30). NY now has no-fault divorce starting in mid-Oct. If you are on Long Island, call me at (631) 848-1204
