Legal Question in Family Law in New York

unmarried with multiple custody

unmarried and have son with man A. We have an informal agreement concerning support and visitation. However,$ support has always been erradic. 8 yrs later, still unmarried and have now two daughters with man B. All children have lived in home of second relationship, one of which I am leaving. I want to know what leverage this departure will give man A if I finally pursue a formalized child support agreement? I can't afford to leave and support all my children by myself.

Re: unmarried with multiple custody

Your concerns do not effect support calculations, however it may have weight in custody battles if the A wants to have his child fulltime. It is unlikly without more than you have stated that a judge would change custody to A.
