Unreimbursed medical expenses

i HAVE A SUPPORT ORDER THAT SAYS MY EX-HUSBAND IS SUPPOSED TO PAY 70% FOR OUT OF POCKET MEDICAL EXPENSES FOR OUR 2 CHILDREN. iN jANUARY 2005 HE STOPPED ALL CONTACT WITH ME OR THE KIDS AND MOVED AND CHANGED HIS PHONE # SO i HAD NO WAY TO FORWARD THE BILLS TO HIM AFTER i PAID HIM IN FULL. i RECENTLY TOOK HIM TO COURT FOR AN INCREASE IN CHILD SUPPORT AND TO GET THE CHILD SUPPORT TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM HIS PAYCHECK. i KNOW HIS HOME ADDRESS NOW AND HAVE FORWARDED ALL THE BILL SINCE jANUARY TO HIM AND HE IS STILL NOT PAYING OR EVEN ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF THE BILLS. wHAT CAN i DO? dO i HAVE TO TAKE MORE TIME OFF FROM WORK TO TAKE HIM TO COURT TO GET HIM TO FUFILL THIS RESPONSIBILITY?

If your regular child support payments are not being collected through the courts you can apply for them to do so without court action. If there are unreimbursed medical expenses you do have to go to court for a determination.

I am sorry. The courts and police will not help you without your actually showing up to petition their help. I know it is a hardship, but it cannot be done online yet.

Actually, this is exactly the type of thing lawyers do every day. Your lawyer can help you and petition the court to have him (your ex) pay the legal bills.
