Legal Question in Family Law in New York

vacate order of supprt by reopening divorce

My divorce was uncontested and and final 10/1992. My ex-husband has never paid child support of $75 per week. I have been in family court now for 2 years trying to get arrears. He has filed to vacate the divorce in Supreme Court and it was dismissed. He is now trying again to have my divorce reopened again. Can he do this after 16 yrs, and I am remarried with 2 other chidren? Can I do anything to stop him? I don't even know if I have anything to worry about.

What is the purpose in attempting to reopen the divorce? I would need more information about the case to give you a better idea as to how to defend your ex. If you need further help, you can email me at [email protected].
