Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I served my wife w/ a summons w/ notice and verified complaint. She got a lawyer who sent her Verified answer and a letter demanding my net worth, tax statements etc. I was also instructed not to contact my wife. Since then she has contacted me and is no longer represented by a lawyer. This was all supposed to be uncontested originally. I would file everything, she would sign off on it and it would be done. Now that she has filed the affirmative defense papers and asked that the matter be moved to another county I'm at a loss as to how to proceed without getting an attorney.

Hi:

This is something that you need assistance with, since with matrimonials there is a divsion of assets, child custody issues, etc. Also it appears that your wife is somewher in the middle of being represented, and not represented, with papers filed on her behalf.
