Legal Question in Family Law in New York

veterans disability compensation

i have been trying to get my veterans disability compensation,going back to 1984-1988,prior to being married in 1989.it appears i am going to recieve it and we are in the process of divorcing now.is she intitled to any of this money.we also live apart for almost 2 years now.

In the pension was earned prior to marriage, your wife should not be entitled to it. Keep in mind, in divorce, and most law suits, people always ask for more than they can possibly get.
