Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Visitation - Relocation

My husband and I are planning to move to Florida. I want to know what would be the best and easiest way to do so with the following situation. I was married before and have two daughters from that marriage. My exhusband will most likely not want me to move. He currently lives 2 1/2 hrs away and has done so for the past 3 years. Currently he has visitation every other weekend, but has missed considerable time. There is nothing in the divorce papers that states that I or my ex can move out of state or further. Is there anything i should know or do to make the move possible?
