Legal Question in Family Law in New York
visitation rights
On july 10th, my wife of 5 years left our apt with both of our kids. She moved to NJ, all I have is her phone number, which I am allowed to use once a month to contact the kids. She's been making all decisions regarding visits. I see the kids when and where she wants to meet. What are my rights under the law? I always have to go up there, pay gas and tolls. She doesn't make the kids call me, and I still don't know where my kids are living. All I know is that they are somewhere in Orange, NJ.

Re: visitation rights
I suggest you consult with an attorney. You are, at a minimum, entitled to visitation with the children. You may even be granted custody.
I would act quickly.
