Visitation Rights for Noncustodial Parent

Noncustodial parent relocating to the State of Florida. What are his rights for visitation when we have Joint Custoday, but I have primary physical custody of my child in the State of New York?

Re: Visitation Rights for Noncustodial Parent

Your post is a little vague - you need to provide more information to get a proper answer to your question. Absent a court order modifying custody/visitation, a parent's relocation should not interfere with the other's custody of or access to the child as originally provided. If a parent with joint-custody relocates so far away as to render the existing custodial/time-sharing arrangement impractical, it may be appropriate and desirable to modify the order. Feel free to call my office to discuss this further.
