Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Visitation Rights/Child Support

My child is in the care of her older sister, who shares joint custody with my ex-wife. I have proof my children are both involved in drug use and underage alcohol use. My younger daughter also got in a car accident while driving without a license, which resulted in the death of one of her friends. She has a felony now, and is on probation for the next 5 years. She went to live with my family for a year, and against my better judgement was allowed to return to live with her sister. My older daughter has slandered me publically and is now demanding child support for her younger sister, who is about to turn 18. She is also denying me information as to my daughter's whereabouts, claiming that their address is ''confidential'' and that if I need to contact them, I should go through their mother, who does not even live in the same county. My ex wife is not a responsible parent either, and I have evidence that she is guilty of serious neglect and endangerment. What are my options? I appreciate ANY information you can give. Many thanks.

Re: Visitation Rights/Child Support

More information is needed to fully answer the question.

Your options depend upon the state in which you live, and, also, the reason(s) why you don't have custody, as well as your record in dealing with the children in the past.
