Legal Question in Family Law in New York
visitation/Custody
I have a Short order form signed by the father of the child & myself. We made agrangments on meeting the father on the train platform at 12:00. I drop off the child & pick her up at the same place. Question is:
What happens if the father is always late in the meeting. And if he is late, do I wait, and does his time get cut off because he is late?

It sounds like you may need to go back to Family Court to modify the order so that it is specific. No one can dictate that but the Judge. Because if you fail to wait, he can go to court making a claim that you have been failing to allow visits. Unless the two of you can agree on a wait time, then you may want the order to reflect the wait time.
