Visitation/Parenting Time
I'm the non-custodial parent, serving in the Air Force and stationed in Italy. In order to spend time with my son, my ex-wife has insisted that utilize all of my leave time at once in order to short our son time I could spend with him later at Christmas and in March for his birthday. I have been in contact with my lawyer and the law guardian and would like to know what could be done. According to the divorce decree I'm supposed to have 5 weeks, non-consecutive parenting time 3 weeks, then 2 weeks. I'm supposed to submit to my ex-wife via letter my intentions by May 1st, which I did. In return, she is not to schedule anything that would interefere with that time, which she has done, she has put our son in summer camp and will end up forcing me out of the complete time that I would normally have been afforded. Any answers that I can get from you would be appreciated. Thank You.

YOu must go back to court. YOu should ask that the court hold her to the agreement and you should further require that she pay for the cost of this going to court since she is the one not following the agreement.
Now it may be a good thing for you child to attend camp. If it is, then she should look for a camp that is shorter than the whole summer and have him attend that, Further if you can take him with you to Italy, that would be a tremendous experience with him and many a court would think that is better than camp.
