Legal Question in Family Law in New York

waiver of parental rights

I need to know if it is possible to give up all parental rights for a child whom I have had no contact with due to situational problems with the other parent.

Re: waiver of parental rights

You can give up your rights, that is easy. But you cannot give up your responsibilities. That is prohibited by law.

There are ways to work this out. Mediation, etc, that can be helpful. You are welcome to contact me for no fee for more information.

You are welcome to a consultation at no fee at my offices at 42 west 44th st., NY,NY. Please call for an appointment first. (646) 591-5786
