My wife abandoned me

I was married to my ex wife 2 years ago. She was living in India . I sponsor her and she awarded a Visa and now she abandoned me . We had never live together and now she wants spousal support? What can I do?

Without knowing more about the relationship it's impossible to be certain, however, the under the circumstances you describe it's unlikely that a court would award spousal support.

If you are already divorced, the answer is no, your ex-wife is not entitled to maintenance. However, if you are still married, then more information is needed (like why she needs support for a 2 year marriage) to properly answer this question.
