Legal Question in Family Law in New York
My wife and I have been caring for our "grandaughter" since she was 6 months old, providing financial support as well as emotional support. Now, we find out that our "grandaughter" is not really our son's daughter, but we still want to have visitation.

You should consider consulting a family law attorney at once.

You may be able to get visitation under equitable estoppel. You should speak with a family law attorney as soon as possible.
