ex wife crazyness help!
HELLO PLEASE HELP! I have a ex-wife that I just cant deal with.I am divorced 12 years and she still has a hatred towards me like it happened yesterday. We have a 17 yr old child of the marriage.She is going to college next year.We have a very clear divorce agreement(not that it has ever mattered) I have put in a ed trust what now amounts to around 100k.she will be attending a 40k college a year.Mom wants total control of the money, not in the agreement .To get it she is threatning another lawsuit.I am 67 yrs old and took social security 2 years ago.Mom agreed to accept that in lue for support.Itwas more money as well,than she was receiving @ the time,now she is threatining to sue for back support for the last 2 1/2 years,back medical,back re-embursment for health ins.Non of these things has she ever asked for in the past. Also future child support. It is spelled out very clearly in our agreement that it ends when child is 18 and goes to college. So heres my questions.
1.Can she sue for back 2 1/2 years support when she has taken no action in the past.
2.can she sue for future sup.when the agreement is very clear that it ends @ 18
3.what are her chances @ winning other issues when she has never taken action.

Your question is a fair one, which has a very straight forward answer - CAN she sue, well the answer to that is ABSOLUTELY... the real question is does she have a valid claim against you, and from the facts that you have given it would seem like she very well may not... however, i would suggest that you keep my contact information handy and give me a call if she does decide to go that route as you will definately need good representation.
