Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My ex wife is holding information I would not want divulged to friends, family, and co-workers that could quite possibly ruin my reputation and career. She is using this information as a way to ensure she gets sole legal custody of our 1 year old child. In addition, she wants to change our childs last name and willing to divulge this information if I try to fight for certain rights. Anything I can do?
