Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Withdrawl of pension after DRO established in divorce settlement

As part of our divorce settlement it was determined that my ex-wife and I would be entitled to a portion of each others retirement pension. When my attourney contact New York State and Local Retirement systems to determine the exact amount I am entitled to, he was in formed that my ex-wife has withdrawn from her retirement plan. Isn't this considered contempt of court and what recourse do I have? Also, is it possible for me to obtain a copy of the petition to withdraw and how would I go about doing this?

If she has acted to violate or frustrate the Judgment of Divorce, ask your attorney to enforce it.
