Legal Question in Family Law in New York

a woman has been in a relationship with a man for three years and has been living in his house. a house which he owns exclusively. Now the relationship is over and he has asked her to leave. She is claiming that he needs to give her ample time to leave due to the fact that she has an autistic son. My question is what is ample time. She does have a place to go, but she choses to pick and chose her place to live. Is there a law that states ample time?

Technically you granted her a license to stay in the house. That license has now been revoked. You should be giving her a 30 day notice. After the 30 day period, you may commence a summary proceeding to evict her from the house.
