Legal Question in Medical Leave in New York

Are part time, non union employees who do NOT have sick/personal days at their job in NYC still paid for the 12 weeks of family sick leave? Is it my regular salary or a stipend ( or percentage) I work for NYC Health & Hospitals Corporation four years part time. I have to take care of family member.

Thanks, Betty

FMLA does not require an employer to grant paid leave. FMLA covers employees who have been employed for at least 12 months by an employer for at least 1,250 hours of service during the previous 12-month period.
