Legal Question in Medical Leave in New York
I am having surgery on my arem that is a workers comp. related. do I have to have fmla? if i don't can they let me go while i am out

FMLA and Workers' Compensation are not related. Your employer is within their rights to terminate your employment if you are out for an extended period of time.
