Legal Question in Medical Leave in New York
time allowed
How much time off am i allowed off? My wife and I previously had a child and they gave me 4 weeks off. Now they only approved me for 1 week with my new child arriving in 4 weeks. If she has a c-section there is no way she could take care of my 22 month old. could you tell me my rights under the fmla laws.

If your wife is disabled you are eligible for up to 12 weeks of FMLA leave without pay depending on who your employer is.
Pregnancy related medical complications are considered disabilities
