Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York
On 04/27/2015 an attorney representing several parties sent a letter to each party asking how they would like to receive the return of a bond and a settlement. As of 08/12/2015 several of the parties have NOT received either their share of the bond or their share of the settlement. They had all signed a release in good faith, assuming they would each get their share. The attorney has failed to communicate with several of the parties since April. Calls go unanswered. What to do?
