Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York
My 17 yr. old son has a "local" appearance ticket. The ticket is dated incorrectly (wrong year and date) and is not signed by the issuing officer. Is this an official ticket and what could happen when he appears in town court?

He should appear. Whether or not it is an official ticket will ultimately be decided by the Court.
