Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

i arthur brower was a home health aide to a client in binghamton and his landlord had appproach me on the street and harasset me about the way i was cleaning the clients house and also she slandered to my boss saying that i brought in bed bugs into the apartment which also caused me my job I wanted to know if i can sue the landlord for harassment and slander?

These causes of action are "rich man's" claims meaning that the plaintiff pays for litigation. This can cost anywhere from $20K-$100K. They are not taken on a contingency fee basis and any lawyer who does take it on such terms is not one you would want to hire. So in other words, unless you have a ton of money do not even bother.
