Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

if my attorney is involved with hudson valley holding corp and the plaintiff is as well, should i switch attorneys as i am defendent?

While it's not clear what "involved with" means, if your attorney has information relating to both sides the attorney should not represent either side.
