contract

In a contract (re: marital separation agreement signed 21

years ago) case: once a decision is handed down, if the

defendant fails to comply with the judge's decision and is

held in contempt and sentenced to jail, can the court in the

state of origin (NY) have the defendant arrested when he

resides in another state

Usually a contempt order is limited in exectution to the state that issues the order. However, you do not indicate whether the order is one of criminal contempt. Speak to an attorney. (410) 799-9002
