Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York
A couple bought a puppie from us and wanted us to fly the puppie to New york. It turns out the puppie gets motion sick and may not be able to fly. We refunded her deposit and monies tender to us. We gave her option for us to drive the puppie up there so we could care for it and she declined the offer. We gave her the option also to take another puppy she wants this one. We got an email from an attorney stating we need to comply or they will litigate.

I am completely opposed to breeding except in very specific circumstances (e.g. service dogs foor the blind). Millions of animals are euthanized per year, even purebreeds. People walk into the shelters thinking there are no small dogs or purebreeds BUT don't realize the rescue groups already took them out of that disgusting stockyard-awaiting-slaughter and moved them into foster homes. I strongly recommend being very careful breeding anymore because more and more groups and civic associations (many headed by attorneys) are going after breeders whereas in the past, many attorneys would not even take cases where they now do them pro bono out of principle.
