Deed Transfers

My parents would like to sign their property over to me. My father has just been notified that someone is bringing a lawsuit against him. Will this interfer in a transfer of the deed to me in anyway? Thanks

This does not have enough information to answer.

I understand the question, but there are various instances where a transfer could be void if done specifically to avoid a judgmnet.

In other situations it would have no effect.
