Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

discovery demands

I am a plaintiff pro se. I furnished the defendant with their discivery demands to the best of my ability. However, they did not answer any of my discovery demands. Instead of providing any information, they just asked for more, and imply a threat if I dont comply within CPLR timeframe. What can I do about their lack of response, and do you think that they are trying to intimidate me?

Re: discovery demands

Your next step depends on the court. If you are in the Supreme Court, you must file an RJI and request a preliminary conference or a PC.

If you are in the Civil Court or District Court, you can write to the clerk and request a conference before a Judge.
