Can I sue a college where I recently received a degree if some administrators of that school were caught selling degrees to thousands who never even attended the school thereby hurting the value of my masters degree?
If yes, what legal claim is to be made?

Not unless you can prove you've been damaged. Speak to an expert witness then get to a lawyer. As the damages may be too speculative, expect attorney's not to be interested in the case if it is to be paid by a contingency. Expect to pay the freight for lawyers fees if this thing gets past a summary judgement motion.
Just remember the value of a degree is not decided by the university that grants it, but rather it but by the efforts you put in to get it.
