Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York
my girlfriend of five and a half years have split, she waked out with her personal items clothes and what not her seventeen yearly son resides here and he doesn't want to leave. As far as rights to the common property for her to be able to remove items like the beds and furniture what can I do to protect the home we rent and stop her....?

She can remove her personal items and belongings. She is still responsible for rent if she is on the lease and you can have her son vacate the premises. Any items of personal property that you purchased together belongs to the two of you and she has to pay the reasonable market value before or after removal. You can sue her for the reasonable value of the goods purchased together.
