homeowners responseability./getting sued

if i the homeowner lets a party be given at my home and i tell the person giving the party that no alcohol is allowed and people bring alcohol without my permission or knowledge and those people drive and get into an accident can the homeowner be held responseable and get sued? thanks.

That's actually two questions - and in order to answer the questions, one needs a bit more information.

Who is "the person" giving the party. A teenager? A tenant? What level of supervision is required? What level of supervision was there?

One can always be sued...the better question is whether the suit will be successful. If you have been sued, remember that your homeowners insurance may cover the lawsuit.
