Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

Am I included in this action to recover as well?

In the header of CP case for my son, the name always appears as,''My name as natural mother and guardian of my son's name, and My name individually'' What exacly does that mean? Am I to recover damges as well, or is this just a way to indentify my son and the fact he is a minor and I represent him on his behalf?

This means you are suing on your on behalf also. These are questions that should be asked of your attorney.
