Intent to sue

I intend to sue suffolk county police dept for something that happened on Nov 15 I just found out I only had 90days to file an intent to sue but today it is 97days from when it happened. Is there anything I can do?

There is a way to file a late notice of claim. But b4 you do that tell me a little about your claim. It may not be worth it.
