Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

Liability

I am being sued for services provided by a Medical Assesment firm during an operation where they did some ancilary work during the operation. They cornered me 10 minutes before going under the knife to sign some paper which I find out later made me liable for whatever portion my insurance didn't pay. My arguement is I was so drugged up at the time that I had no idea what I was signing and surely did not have the capacity to form the necessary intent to be responsible for this service. Am I liable? and can you provide me any New York case law to answer their Motion for Summary Judgenment? Thank you so much

This is not something that can be worked through in this medium. Its fact specific and somewhat detailed. Its a question of notice and competence, but it should be enough to oppose a motion.
