Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York
I live in a condo and my apartment is on the market. My real state agent is the super in my building. One of my neighbors doesn't seem to like him and has made contact with all prospective buyers for my apt and others he represents and passes on misinformation about them to discourage the sale. Do I or the agent have a legal recourse here?

Generally speaking, you and arguably the agent as well have causes of action against the neighbor. It is best to nip such adverse acts in the bud and proceed against the neighbor swiftly and firmly.
