Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

Lost judgement

Hello. I owned a sub chapter ''S'' corp, which is now closed. In September 2005 I sued a former client, who countersued me. I lost due to judge REFUSING to even look at my evidence. Judgement against my company is $4200. Question-Can this guy come after me personally to collect? Can he affect me tax, personal property, wage garnishment or any other way-wise? He has hired a collection firm-I am sending back all attempts at correspondance unopened. The judgement was against my company, not me. Anything to worry about. HELP! Thanks.

Re: Lost judgement

Sending back the letters will not help you. The first thing you should look at is if the collection attempts are to you or to your company. If they are against you, write the collection company disputing their debt against you.
