Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

i put up my house as bail for a friend who had been arrested. My friend has since plead guilty and was sentenced. In the meantime, the bail bondsman has a lien on my house and refuses to release the lien unless i provide him with a certificate of disposition from the inmate. Obviously, that is impossible since my friend is incarcerated. What can I do.

Go to the courthouse and ask the clerk for a copy of the final order. Its a public record.
