I signed a general release in 1994 is it still valid?

in 1994 i settled on an estate matter with my step sister and signed a general release noeew ive found out she forged a deed after my fathers death in 1970 ive filed in the supreme court, is the general release still valid?

That is not the correct question. If you signed the release in reliance on a deed that was forged,

you can generally reopen the matter.

If there was no fraud with respect to your entry into the release, it remains valid, however the deed might not be. These are 2 separate issues.
