Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

Hi, I signed a listing agreement with a mobile home sales lot on 8/4, and gave them a letter to cancel on 9/1. I sold the home on 9/17 myself and the sales lot wants 10% comm. claiming listing is binding.Home is not on land but in a park and the sales lot is related to the park but are separate corporations. My wife did NOT sign the listing and we both own home. Do I have to pay them? I did offer them $2500. and they want $5000. which they refused and we want to get this settled asap.

Depends on the listing agreement you signed. Did it expire before you sold? Was the buyer someone the realtor had previously brought?
