Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

Sold dog

I sold a pug, and int he reciept I stated pending health of the dog. I then proceeded to take the dog to the vet, and the dog got health paperwork that showed excellent condition. The vet check was at 6 weeks. The dog left at 7.5 weeks per the vets recommendation, and now at 9 weeks is being diognosed with a heart murmur. Am I legally obnligated to give the money back, seeing as how I sold it with a clean bill of health?

It depends on what your contract says. In this case it is a reciept.

On another point. I assume you were breeding your dog. Do you want a person who does not want your puppy to have him?
